Steve Jones
Executive Director

Steve originally hails from Compton California and has called San Diego home for 15 years. He immediately started working in youth sports starting as a Camp Counselor, eventually coaching as high as Junior College at his alma mater Miramar College. Steve has always had a passion for serving his community, dating back to his elementary years. His father Steve Sr coordinated food drives, toy drives, homeless shelters, coaching youth basketball, and mentoring the youth of Compton and the surrounding areas. Following in those footsteps, Steve had the opportunity to start The Swish Foundation to serve the community of San Diego through mentorship, community outreach, and basketball. Steve works diligently to ensure that all aspects of The Swish Foundation operate in the highest regard and continues to innovate ways to serve the San Diego Community.

Michael Howell is a seasoned and experienced technology services leader, with a proven record of success. As Co-Founder of Swish Foundation, Swish Sports, Fascile Technologies and Vigour Management his conceptual skills and creative thinking has been essential for growing the business. Michael has over 25 years of information technology experience in multiple industries, some of which include higher education, government, public safety, retail, banking and eCommerce industries. He specializes in process improvement, gap analysis, project management, software-as-a-service and custom software development. His leadership responsibilities have supported the growth of multiple businesses, ranging from $100M to $500M annually. Michael visualizes the company as a whole and as industry needs change, he will be sure to align a roadmap to develop solutions that meet those needs.

A father of 6 successful children, as a Co-Founder of The Swish Foundation, he finds ways to “give back” to the community. He spends his free time helping youth, teens and young men & women achieve their dreams and/or better their current living and social conditions. He is well-known to be a tireless worker and his reputation is a guy that always tries to do the right thing.
